Get in touch

Email us at support@summitring.shop. Summit is built by one person, so replies come from a human rather than a ticket queue — usually within a day or two. Tell us what happened, what you expected instead, and which iPhone you’re on, and we can usually skip a round of questions.

Common issues

The ring won’t connect or sync. Work through these in order, and stop as soon as it connects:

  1. Force-close Summit and open it again.
  2. Turn Bluetooth off and back on in iOS Settings.
  3. Put the ring back in its charging case, leave it there for one minute, take it out and try again. This power-cycles the ring, and it resolves most connection problems on its own.
  4. Restart your phone.

If it still won’t connect after all four, send us a Diagnostic Log — see below.

Readiness looks wrong. Readiness is built from your previous night’s sleep, your resting heart rate and your heart rate variability, so a single bad night or a stressful day will move it a long way. Give it a few days before you read anything into a single score. If it stays at an extreme for a week, send us a Diagnostic Log.

Heart rate looks wrong. Optical heart rate depends almost entirely on fit. A ring that can slide or spin loses the signal; a ring tight enough to leave a mark can read high. It should sit snugly without pressure. Moving it one finger over, or slightly along the finger, is usually enough.

Battery drains faster than you expected. Battery life is driven mostly by how often the ring syncs and how much continuous measurement is running, so heavy use of live features will shorten it noticeably. If it drops far below what you are used to seeing, charge it fully once and watch it over the next few days before writing to us — a single short cycle isn’t enough to judge.

Send us a Diagnostic Log

If you’re still stuck, we may ask you to send your Diagnostic Log. This is a record of what the app has done since it started, and it helps us understand what went wrong.

To copy your Diagnostic Log:

  1. Open Summit and go to Settings.
  2. Open Advanced.
  3. Tap “Copy Diagnostic Log”.
  4. Paste it into an email to us, and tell us what you were doing when it went wrong.

The log is plain text and it goes to your clipboard, so you can read the whole thing before you send it. Nothing is transmitted unless you send it yourself — the app has no automatic crash reporting. We use it to diagnose your problem and delete it once the issue is closed.

Manage your waitlist subscription

Remove my email from the waitlist. Send an email to support@summitring.shop with the subject “Remove from waitlist” and we’ll take you off immediately. You can also use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.

Change which finish I selected. Reply to any email from us or send a new one with your updated preference (Apex Black, Glacier Silver, Horizon Gold, or Rose Gold). We’ll update your record.

Privacy and data access

For questions about what data we collect, how we use it, or your rights under Canadian privacy law, see our Privacy Policy.

To request access to your data, request deletion, or exercise any other privacy right, write to support@summitring.shop with the subject “Privacy Request” and we will respond within 30 days.

To delete everything the app holds, delete the app. Summit has no account and no server, so there is nothing left behind to ask us about. The waitlist is separate — it lives on this website, and deleting the app does not remove you from it.
